In one way or another, we are all looking for memories, images that capture an instant, treasuring and eternalizing experiences.

Marie Juliette’s art drifts from the rigid canon in order to make us accomplices of her talent, by breaking away from the myth that the portrait limits creative possibilities.

The photographer observes: “I love to photograph people, to portray a piece of their soul, to steal instants that are captured forever. To realize, through the photo,
what that person was feeling or living, freezing spontaneous instants therein”.

Her work shows once again how sensibility plays an important role, as she captures in her images not only the features
but also the expression and emotion, thus discovering the true personality.

The artist captures portraits in different styles: black and white, color, sepia, black and white with color detail and washed out.
